Francesca Currie: Meet the Artist

Trinity House is delighted to announce that contemporary artist Francesca Currie will be visiting our gallery during the Broadway Food Festival on the 11th of September 2022. From 2-4pm, visitors will have the opportunity to meet Francesca and discuss her work, and inspiration as an artist. A selection of Francesca’s paintings will also be on display.
“From the simple yet elegant row of Oysters, to the dramatic Rioja and Grapes, Francesca’s paintings elevate the familiar, and create an idyllic world. Many of Francesca’s paintings are based around a rich palette of colours, producing still life works you can almost taste.”
About Francesca Currie
Francesca Currie is a contemporary artist based in Cheltenham with a diverse portfolio spanning portraits, photographs and still lifes. Her work combines the traditional techniques of the Old Masters with a modern viewpoint to create representational oil paintings with contemporary composition.
She has been on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the year 2021 and had the wonderful opportunity to paint Sir Trevor McDonald, who chose her portrait to take home as his personal favourite.
