Born in East Berlin in 1977 Ann went on to win the national competition, ‘Youth See’s its own world’ (Haus der Kulturen der Welt) in 1993 and was member of the Berlin Art Club, Friedrichshain between 1992 to 1996. Following this the artist moved to London where she completed her degree in Design & Media Management, before holding her first solo exhibition at Ealing Film Studios in 1999. In 1999 Ann completed her Masters in Art Craft and Design Education and in 2001 she took part in the Mural Painting Project, “German artists brings Bauhaus to local Grammar School” and the following year she held another solo exhibition at Manresa Hall Roehampton.
